Role Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Machine Learning Factor Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning and data science, as well as experience in the electricity trading industry.
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Developing and implementing machine learning models to improve our trading strategies and risk management.
- Analyzing historical data to identify trends and patterns.
- Monitoring and evaluating the performance of machine learning models.
- Communicating findings to stakeholders.
- Staying up-to-date on the latest machine learning and data science techniques.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in machine learning or data science.
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
- Experience with big data technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
In addition to the above, the ideal candidate will also have the following skills and experience:
- Experience with Python and SQL.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Google Cloud.
- Experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn or TensorFlow.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Matplotlib or Plotly.
