We are seeking an experienced Northeast Power Trader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for cash, virtuals, and congestion trading in ISO-New England and NYISO markets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the Northeast power markets, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
- Trading and managing a Northeast power markets portfolio, including cash, virtuals, and participate in monthly, annual, and long-term congestion auctions
- Develop and execute trading strategies to maximize profitability and manage risk
- Work closely with the rest of the team to perform and develop analysis to identify short and long-term market risks and opportunities
- Incorporate data science into creating statistical models and algorithms that provide trade signals, driving trading strategy and commercial decisions
- Monitor market fundamentals, including supply and demand, logistics, regulations, and operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Power Systems, Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in commercially driven power trading, with a focus on Northeast markets
- Proven experience in cash, virtuals, and congestion trading in ISO-New England and NYISO markets
- Experience with Optimal Power Flow (OPF) models
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze large datasets and identify market trends and opportunities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
